Haruno Ongklungel Santos, 93, of Honolulu, passed away on July 12, 2025, at home in Kalihi. Born June 25, 1932, in Peleliu, Palau, to Ikelau Ngirarengei Ongklungel and Ongklungel Iyechol. She worked at The Honolulu Poi Factory, Boulevard Saimin, Helena’s Hawaiian Food, and Santos General Auto Repair Shop (1974-1994), owned by her late husband Moses Ngodrii Santos. She was a proud member of Ungil Chais Fellowship and the Peleliu Club of Hawaii. She is survived by children: Seliana (Usoalii) Moi, Edmund Santos, Elizabeth (Bruce) Hom, Esther, Ernest, and Erica Santos; sister Maria (Jonn) Otto; sister-in-law Judy Otto; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Moses, son Edwin, sisters Osengko and Harue Ongklungel, and brothers Isak Ongklungel, Elias Okamura, Okada Ongklungel, and Caleb Otto. Viewing 9:00 AM Saturday, August 9 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Service 10:00 AM. Burial 3:00 PM at Hawaiian Memorial Park & Cemetery.
