Senira Pua Tomanogi Iuta, 59, of Kapolei, Hawaii, died in Honolulu on January 13, 2020. She was born in Samoa. Senira, “Nira” as she is known by many, was born in Samoa on June 10, 1960. Her parents were the late Filiki Tomanogi and late Sinabada Tala-tonu-Niuatoa. Nira was raised in the villages of Fagatogo and Nu’uuli. She to Samoana High School and started her working life right after graduation in 1978. Nira worked for the Department of Public Health for more than twenty years. On February 16, 1981, she married the love of her life, Isara Misiaita Iuta of Ili’ili at the Iakina SDA Church in American Samoa. They resided in Nu’uuli and Ili’ili where they raised their four children. Visitation: 8:00 a.m. Services: 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church.
